Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat Ji, will be visiting Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, from 27th February to 2nd March 2025 as part of a four-day tour. This visit is a significant part of the preparations for the RSS’s centenary celebrations. His visit to the easternmost state is one of the many routine tours he is undertaking across Bharat as part of the preparations to the centenary celebrations.
It is noteworthy that the RSS was founded by Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar Ji in 1925, and this year, on the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami, the organisation will enter its centenary year.
Dr. Bhagwat Ji will arrive in Itanagar after completing his five-day schedule in Guwahati, Assam. During his visit, he will hold discussions with Karyakartas from across the state on topics such as personality development, patriotism, national integration, and the further expansion of the organisation through Shakhas.
He will also share his vision on how the “Panch Parivartan” (five initiatives for social transformation) – Social Harmony, Civic Duties, Environmental Protection, Swadeshi, and Family Values – can be spread to all sections of society, contributing to the holistic development of the nation.
During his stay in Itanagar, on 27th February, Sarsanghchalak Ji will interact with approximately 130 indigenous faith leaders, representing the major tribes of Arunachal Pradesh. On 28th February, he will address a gathering of swayamsevaks living in Itanagar at Seva Dham, Lekhi village.
Additionally, he will attend a two-day residential Prant Karyakarta Shivir (camp) with around 900 Karyakartas from different parts of Arunachal Pradesh. During the course of his visit, he will also meet with several dignitaries and senior functionaries of ideologically affiliated organizations.
On 2nd March 2025, Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat Ji will depart for Guwahati for further deliberations.
