We are deeply heartbroken by the tragic and untimely loss of Corporal Tage Hailyang of the Indian Air Force, a proud son of Arunachal Pradesh and a native of Tajang village in Lower Subansiri District. While visiting Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, with his wife, Corporal Hailyang was brutally martyred in a cowardly act of terror.

A dedicated and disciplined member of the 2011 batch of Bhiwani Chatravas (Vaish Model Sr. Sec. School, Bhiwani), Haryana – run by Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram – Late T. Hailyang stood out for his commitment, character, and courage.

Serving as an Admin Assistant at 1 Wing of the Indian Air Force, he exemplified honour, duty, and patriotism. His death is not only a personal loss to his family but a national tragedy that has cast a shadow of grief over Arunachal Pradesh and the entire nation.

Our deepest thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones, especially his wife, who survived this horrific incident. We hope they find strength, comfort, and resilience in this time of immense sorrow.

As Corporal Hailyang’s mortal remains return to Ziro with full military honours, the Arunachal Vikas Parishad (AVP) and Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram stand united in tribute and solidarity, saluting his bravery and mourning this immense loss.

May his soul rest in eternal peace.
May his sacrifice never be forgotten.

Let us honour his memory not just in words, but through our actions. Let us rise in unity against such senseless violence.
