Bharatiya Kishan Sangh conducting training on Organic Farming
Bharatiya Kishan Sangh is conducting training on ‘Organic Farming’ at Gurufela, Kokrajhar. In the training sessions, farmers are being trained on various agricultural methods, that includes how they can do pest control, all by organic process. The workshop on organic farming is teaching farmers the benifits of integrated farming, and special emphasis given on cow based organic farming.
Bharatiya Kishan Sangh is conducting this training sessions with the help of agriculture experts from Guwahati, who are engaging with the farmers through live video conferance. And keeping in mind the Coronavirus pandemic, the training sessions are also running awareness programs on Coronavirus. Here, farmers are being informed on the preventive measures that they can take to protect themselves and their families from the deadly Coronavirus.

Founded by India’s Eminent thinker Shri Dattopant ji Thengdi, Bharatiya Kisan Sangh is an organization of the Farmers of India aiming at the Holistic Development of the Farmers of India. It is the India’s Biggest Farmers Organization For the Farmers, by the Farmers and of the Farmers. BKS is the seldom organization in India which is not affiliated or connected with any Political motive, but was formed and is working solely for the up-liftment of the Farmers of India.
25 years ago in the year 1979, Res. Shri Dattopant ji Thengdi traveled through out the Country and collected around 650 representative Farmers of the Country and announced the Formation of Bharatiya Kisan Sangh as an organization For the Farmers,
by the Farmers and of the Farmers. Now after these many years this organization has become the prime representative Association for the protection of the interest of the Farmers and farming associated workers of this Country.
