Bharatiya Kishan Sangh creating awareness in rural Assam against CoronaVirus

 

On the occasion of the birth centenary of Dattopant Bapurao Thengadi, founder of Bharatiya Kishan Sangh, a special program named ‘Mission Arogyam’ was started by Bharatiya Kishan Sangh. Under this mission, Bharatiya Kishan Sangh is organizing and conducting free health check-up and awareness camps against the deadly Coronavirus disease in rural Assam.

In this regard, and under Mission Arogyam, camps are being held in Nagaon & Marigaon district from 16th March, 2020 onwards. Apart from creating awareness about the Coronavirus, till now more than 1500 people were treated in these camps for various illnesses. Along with free health check-up and awareness camps under Mission Arogyam, saplings and photos of medicinal plant GILOY are being distributed among the villagers. This is done to make them aware, keeping in mind the medicinal value of the plant in increasing immunity of the human body.
