Panch Parivartan needs to be taken seriously: Shanta Kumari

 

Guwahati: Rashtriya Sevika Samiti’s chief director V Shanta Kumari commented that the Hindu lifestyle that wishes for world welfare is a matter of conduct, so all of us should incorporate it in our lives. She was addressing the concluding session of the All India meeting of Sevika Samiti at IIT Guwahati premises.

“In order to make our nation glorious, the subjects of Panch Parivartan (self-realization, family enlightenment, social harmony, environment and civic duty) will have to be brought to the society by bringing them into personal life and conduct. Efforts have to be made to strengthen the work by doing a SWOT analysis of the status of one’s work,” she stated.

Chief executive of the committee A Sita informed the meeting about the current status of the organization and special programs conducted and plans for future work. She said that quality work has to be increased. This year, while celebrating the 675th remembrance year of Sant Namdev, 501st birth anniversary of Rani Durgavati and 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, inspiring life stories of all of them have to be presented before the people and their thoughts have to be adopted in our lives as well.

Various all India level workers provided guidance in the committee meeting, where
108 delegates from 34 States across Bharat attended the two-day meeting that began on 22 February. 107 representatives from 34 provinces were also present in the meeting. 4125 branches of Sevika Samiti are working in all 12 regions and 38 provinces of the country. The committee is working in 834 districts out of a total of 1042 districts. 1799 service works are being run by the Sevikas of the committee across the country.
